کارت رو رو کردن یعنی‌ نظر دادن و بیان یه فکر یا خواسته

دو دل بودن، تصمیم نگرفتن

-draw the line at doing something=to decide not to do something

خط قرمز گذاشتن، محدودیت قائل شدن

-have a heart gold = generous

مهربون

- have heart of stone = cruel

قلبی از سنگ داشتن

-a man of few words = person who does not talk unnecessary

حکایت از کم گو و گزیده گو

- have thick skin = not to sensitive to personal criticism

پوست کلفت بودن

- full of yourself

-a tough nut = difficult problem

-come up with something = find solution

به نتیجه رسیدن

- make a magic wand = solve problem with no or short effort

اجی مجی‌ کردن یعنی‌ خیلی‌ راحت یه مشکلی‌ رو حل کردن

- in dire strait = in extreme danger

در خطر بودن

- stress you out = to make you feel nervous

چیزی که آدمو عصبی می‌کنه

-worn out = very tired

خیلی‌ خسته

- have bags under the eyes = have dark circle and puffiness under the eye

پفی کیسه مانند زیر چشم داشتن

دخل و خرج با هم خواندن

- carried away / swept away = to feel very emotional or enthusiastic

از خود بی‌ خود شدن/کردن

- you must be kidding/ you have got to be kidding = you are not to be serious  (to show disagreement)

شوخی‌ میکنی‌؟؟؟!!!!

فهمیدن این که یه مساله‌ای  از کجا آب می‌خوره دلیل یه کار یا نظر رو فهمیدن

سر یه حرفی‌ رو باز کردن، رو داریه ریختن مطلبی

-in touch with someone = communication with someone

در ارتباط بودن با کسی‌

- get through = to reach someone by phone

تماس تلفنی با کسی‌

- eat like a horse = eat a lot of food

مثل خرس غذا خوردن

- pick at food = to eat in small pieces without enjoyment

با غذا بازی بازی کردن

- whip up something = quickly prepare something to eat

سریع یه غذا سر هم کردن

- drown your sorrows = to drink a lot alcohol to stop feeling sad

فرار از غصه با مستی

- cool down = to stop feeling angry or emotional

آرام شدن یا به اصطلاح فیتیله رو پائین کشیدن

- on edge = be nervous or worried

عصبی و نگران بودن

- touch a nerve = to cause an emotional reaction

رو اعصاب راه رفتن

- get up on the wrong side (of the bed) = to star a day with un happy and bad feeling

من دوباره حس معلمیم گل کرده و می‌خوام چند تا اصطلاحه دیگه بنویسم:

- as old as the hills= ancient

قدیمی‌

- at first hand = from seeing or experiencing directly

- at peace with something = feeling calm and relax about something or yourself

در صلح بودن با کسی‌ یا چیزی

- at your best = showing the best positive characteristic

سعی‌ خود را کردن

- bare your soul = to express your secret thoughts, feelings,

سفره‌ دل را باز کردن

- be all smiles = very happy

نیشش تا بنا گوشش بازه، خیلی‌ خوشحال

- be yourself = to act in a manner that suits your personality

خودت باش

- beat the dead horse = to waste time to do something that will not succeed.

کار الکی‌ کردن

- beat someone up to =   criticize someone strongly

انتقاد شدید کردن، کسی‌ را کوباندن

- beats me = I don't know or understand (usually in answering the question)

خودم هم موندم، نمیدونم

- the beauty of something = a quality that makes something good, easy, or of value

خوبیش اینه که

- bend someone's ear = to talk with someone for a long time

مغز یکی‌  رو خوردن با پرحرفی

- bend the rules = to allow something to be done that is not usually allowed

زیر آبی‌ رفتن

- have the best of both worlds =  have the attractive features of the 2 

different things

خر و خرما  را با هم داشتن/خواستن

- choose between a rock and hard place or between the devil and deep blue sea = have 2 unpleasant choose only

بین بد و بدتر انتخاب کردن

- just between you and me = without telling to anyone else

بین خودمون ۲ تا

- bite your tongue = to stop yourself from speaking

زبانت را گاز بگیر (راجع بهش حرف نزن دیگه)

                                                            

چند روزی هست که این وبلاگ رو راه انداختم ولی فارسی نوشتن خیلی سخته و الان هم دارم از یک صفحه آنلاین فارسی ساز استفاده میکنم. یاد کلاس اول افتادم که کلمات را هجی می کردیم(البته من عادت به پینگلیش دارم).هه هه هه هه....
شاید بد نباشه که با چند تا اصطلاح انگلیسی شروع کنیم میدانم که انگلیسی حرف زدن مشکل خیلی از ما ایرانی هاست که به یک کشور انگلیسی زبان کوچ می کنیم.

Give someone a hand = to help someone-

کمک کردن به کسی

Go hand to hand = to be present together-

با هم دیگر بودن / رفتن

wash your hand of someone/something= to end all involvement with someone/something-

دست شستن از/ نا امید شدن از

A shoulder to cry on= have someone to sympathize when you're upset -
